Meet Dr. Stamoolis
Christina Stamoolis, M.D., is board-certified in Family Medicine and honored to be named Top Doctor for 2023 by Castle Connolly. She graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in cell biology and biochemistry and ran track & field. Dr. Stamoolis received an MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed her residency in family medicine at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida, and a fellowship in obesity medicine.
Dr. Stamoolis has practiced medicine in the Tampa Bay area since 2011. Her clinical interests include lifestyle and preventive care, management of chronic medical conditions, and obesity medicine.

Dr. Matthew Else is a dedicated family medicine physician committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered healthcare. By focusing on meaningful one-on-one relationships, he takes the time to truly understand each patient’s unique health journey. “In my practice, I prioritize open communication and collaboration,” he shares. “This personalized approach empowers me to address the core of health concerns and guide patients toward sustainable wellness through nutrition and fitness, rather than relying solely on medication.”
With a passion for health and well-being sparked by his own childhood experiences, when a traumatic accident required extensive medical support, Dr. Else is dedicated to helping others achieve optimal health. “My mission is to equip my patients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed lifestyle choices that promote long-term wellness,” he explains.
